On the walkway
The visit follows a walkway through the gorge, between rock walls with pools of water. Plan about one hour for the walk without a guide. If you arrive near the last entry time, you will still need that hour, so aim to arrive earlier.
- No strollers are allowed.
- Children who cannot yet walk on their own must go in a baby carrier, not in your arms or on your shoulders.
- Animals are not allowed.
- The walkway is not described as wheelchair accessible. Ask the site before you travel.
Tickets are sold at the site, so bring a way to pay and arrive in good time before the last entry listed above.

Planning the day
With a visit of about one hour, the gorge fits into a half day together with another stop in the region. The address is Rue du Pont des Liasses in Lovagny. Because the season is limited, confirm the dates before you set out, and use the opening hours above as the guide for 2026.
Pair it with the lake or a castle visit. The Château de Menthon has its own opening calendar and sells tickets on site. For more ideas, see things to do in Annecy, and for walks and boat limits on the east shore, see Talloires.

Individuals and groups
The ticket rules differ by party size. As an individual or a family, you do not reserve: you walk up to the entrance and buy your tickets there. That also means you cannot secure a time slot ahead of time, so the opening hours and the last entry are your only planning tools.
Groups of 20 or more get a lower rate, €5 for adults and €2.70 for visitors under 16, but they must reserve. In July and August, groups are scheduled for the morning only. If you travel with a club, school class or tour party, ask for a booking before you set out, and tell everyone that strollers and animals stay outside.
Families with small children should think about how they will carry the youngest. Children who cannot yet walk on their own need a baby carrier. Children aged 7 to 15 pay €3, and children under 7 enter free.
